Yoyo-ing is a fun and relaxing hobby to get into. Kids love yoyos and can play with them for hours. This yoyo I selected is from MagicYoyo and one of their finest plastic ones.

I chose plastic because they can take a beating. When starting out, you're likely to hit the yoyo on the ground or have it come off your finger entirely. Metal yoyos can bend the rim and become unbalanced and not spin properly anymore.

This yoyo also comes with an unresponsive bearing that you can replace later on as the skills develop. Unresponsive mean the yoyo will not wind up on its own and will require a bind to be performed. This can facilitate more advanced and fun tricks.
